I now know that the features that so entranced me
about the first Jensen brooch I encountered were
consistent with the overall style or "look" of Jensen jewelry.

My reaction was not at all unusual.

For example, when working at antique shows,
people often stop in front to my display case,
point, and say excitedly, "That's Jensen!"

Some spontaneously tell stories about a favorite
Jensen pin or a bracelet, the special Jensen piece
a relative brought back from a trip abroad,
or a family tradition of collecting and cherishing Jensen silver.

When I hear their comments and stories,
I recognize the same enthusiasm
I felt when I first encountered Jensen silver.

Even after many years
of buying and selling Jensen silver,
I still share the feeling.

Even after many years
